Ananda Eco house is a unique, charming retreat located in the Sunshine Coast Hinterlands. The accommodation is situated on half an acre of dense rainforest, alive with native birdlife and wildlife which form the relaxing backing track to your tranquil stay. The house itself is comprised of 3 separate bedrooms, kitchen, living area and bathroom/toliet joined by a huge deck as well as a large separate undercover patio. on the lower level.

Ananda Eco House is an ideal location for sightseeing, yet secluded away enough from the hustle and bustle of the weekend rush. Perfectly tucked away from the main road, yet conveniently 5 minute drive or 15 minute walk close to the main street of Montville - spend your day exploring quaint hinterland towns, wineries, waterfalls and day hikes and your retreat your evenings relaxing in your own private rainforest sanctuary.
COMMITTED TO SUSTAINABLE AND ECO CONSCIOUS PRACTICES.
The house is eco friendly and as off grid as possible, hosting solar power, running off rain water and using composting toliets. The house itself has been built with majority repurposed materials with each window and door having a unique story behind it, adding to the charm and story that is Ananda Eco House. We have fitted out and furnished the house with thrifted fittings and furnishings where possible in order to reduce our environmental impact. The hosts encourage guests to reduce their footprint as much as possible during their stay by limiting their use of one-use plastics, composting their food scraps, recycling their cans/bottles and through educational material on how to make small changes to make a positive impact even after they leave from their stay
THE PERFECT COMBINATION OF RUSTIC, MODERN AND NATURE.
The inside of Ananda Eco house is fitted out with modern furnishing and equipped with all the amenities needed to make any guest feel right at home. The oversized picturesque windows bringing the surrounding nature inside.
ROOMS
There are three rooms in the house which can be configured in different bedding arrangement depending on your needs - accommodating up to 8 guests in the main house area. Each room is surrounded by the green forest outside, but when you need the privacy of your own space your room is fitted with blinds and curtains. For the hotter months a ceiling fan is fitted and extra blankets and a heater are in each room for when it gets chilly (please note, we have aircon in the living/kitchen area however rooms are ceiling fan and heater only).
DECK
The deck has a large gazebo with 14 chairs and two big tables underneath. The rest of the deck has built in bench seats for more laid back seating. The gazebo has a large fan and lighting to accommodate your needs in the summer or into the evenings.
LIVING AREA
The main central living area features a fully equipped kitchen and open living room with plenty of space to relax. You'll love the cozy fireplace, comfy lounge and plenty of books and games to entertain your stay.
KITCHEN
The kitchen is perfect for short or long stays to cook whatever your heart desires. Everything is provided from a full size fridge, plates, cutlery, blenders, slow cookers, bakeware, mixing bowls, glassware, silverware, cooking utensils, toaster, kettle, microwave, mugs, pots and pans and a large 90cm oven and stovetop to cook for larger groups.
COFFEE & TEA
We have a dedicated coffee & tea station with everything you need to jumpstart your day! We have a large assortment of loose leaf herbal teas as well as coffee to cozy up to on those cooler hinterland mornings.
PATIO
On the lower level of the property, Ananda Eco House boats a large 10m x 6m undercover patio area. The area is set up with our firepit, icebath, workout gear and sauna however can be used for whatever your needs may be. The patio is the only area the hosts sometimes use on the property during the day time hours only.
FIRE PIT
Spend your evenings around a cozy campfire. We think it is the perfect way to unwind and relax after a busy day of exploring the hinterland. You can still enjoy the fire even if it rains as our firepit is located on our undercover patio area. Firewood and kindling can be purchased upon request as an add on.
ICEBATH, SAUNA & WORKOUT GEAR
Just because your travelling doesn't mean your health regime has to take a hit! Ananda Eco House has an onsite icebath and sauna as well as a great selection of workout gear that can be used throughout your stay so that your mind and body leave feeling energized and refreshed!
OTHER ADD-ONS
We give our guests the option to customize their stay with additional add ons and purchases that we can arrange on your behalf. These range from private plant based cooking classes, 3 course dinners and breakfast hampers from our resident caterer to, icebath experiences, massages or the convenience of having wine, firewood and pancake mixes for sale if required.
